The two piece band known as Scythe of June have gained the attention of those deemed dark, macabre, curious, and damned to hellfire eternal. Rumored to be practitioners of the occult, kindred of witches, speakers of spirits; criticism has been raised by conservative parents, Sunday drivers, and other traditionalists who think their music promotes evil activities and beliefs.
